Udhampur, September 23: A comprehensive inspection of the staff was conducted under the supervision of the General Observer of SA Raman Assembly Constituency 59-Udhampur West and 60-Udhampur East and the General Observer of BC Sateesha Assembly Constituency 61-Chenani and 62-Ramnagar. The training was deployed as micro observers to ensure smooth and transparent conduct of the 2024 Legislative Assembly elections at the conference hall of DC Office Building, Udhampur.

District Election Officer Udhampur, Saloni Rai extended a warm welcome to the General Observer and briefed on the importance of deploying micro-observers at key polling stations and ensuring that all micro-observers involved in the electoral process are fully prepared and confident to perform their duties effectively. Conduct free, fair and transparent elections.

DLMT conducted extensive training for micro observers through PPT, practical operation of electronic voting machines and their roles and responsibilities, and discussed the reporting format in detail.

The Chief Observer guides the trainees to perform their duties efficiently and strictly adhere to the ECI guidelines.

Among them, Devinder Singh Bhau of Nodal Officer Postal Ballot CEO PDA and Darshan Kumar of Nodal Officer Training DSEO Udhampur were also present on the occasion.
