BSF destroys rusty mine in controlled explosion at JK Samba

Samba/Jammu, September 23: The Border Security Force (BSF) on Monday destroyed a rusty anti-tank mine found on a river bank in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district, officials said.

They said the mine was discovered by a BSF patrol on the banks of Basantal river between Barhar and Kamul border posts around 11 am.

The area was cordoned off and bomb squad experts destroyed the mine in a controlled explosion without causing any damage, officials said.
