Stock markets are booming, Sensex-Nifty hits new highs, these 10 stocks emerge as ‘heroes’ of the day.

The first trading day of the week proved to be very positive for Indian stocks. On Friday, the 30-share Sensex index on the Bombay Stock Exchange reached a new high of 84,980 points after crossing the 84,000-point mark for the first time, while the National Stock Exchange Nifty was very close to the 26,000-point mark. Stocks such as Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M Share) and SBI (SBI Share) posted strong gains amid the market boom.

Sensex-Nifty hits new highs
As stock market trading began, the BSE Sensex opened at 84,651.15 points, up from the previous day’s closing price of 84,544 points, and reached 84,980.53 points during the day’s trade, which was its highest level ever. Like the Sensex, the NSE’s Nifty also performed strongly, opening higher than Friday’s close of 25,790.95 points and reaching 25,956 points during the day’s trade.

However, the Sensex-Nifty momentum saw some disruption towards the end of trading. On one hand, the Sensex gained 384.30 points to end at 84,928.61 points, while the Nifty ended at 25,939.05 points, up 148 points.

These stocks rank among the best among large-cap companies
Now let us talk about the most out-of-control stocks in the stock market rally, including large cap companies M&M stock closed at Rs 3,049.40 with a rise of 3.29%, except State Bank of India (SBI stock) which closed at Rs 2.55. % rose and closed at Rs 801.80. Apart from this, Bharti Airtel shares closed at Rs 1,751, up 2.26%.

Shares of MahaBank, which is included in mid-cap companies, rose 7.96 per cent to Rs 63.07, while shares of Godrej Property rose 7 per cent to Rs 3,198. If we look at the performance of other companies in the category, PSB stock closed at Rs 57.30, up 5.70%, and Glenmark stock closed at Rs 1,711.40, up 5.29%.

Among small-cap stocks, the top gainer was SBFC Share, which rose 19.97% to close at 105.69 points. Apart from this, RIIL stock price closed at Rs 1,388.30, a rise of 19.57%. In this list, Bfutility Share gained 18.23% to touch Rs 902.70.

These stocks fell the most
If we look at the list of stocks that rose but fell in the stock market on Monday, in the small-cap category Fusion Share (-9.99%), MCloud Share (-5.80%) declined, while among mid-cap companies the top losers were Phoenix Share down 3.06% , to Rs.1802. Apart from this, Tornt Power Share (-2.57%), Voltas Share (-2.39%), RVNL Share (-1.88%), Paytm Share (-1.83%) and Alkem Share (-1.70%) ended lower.

Among large-cap companies, the biggest loser was private sector lender ICICI Bank Share, which fell 1.25% to close at Rs 1,323.50, while IndusInd Bank Share closed lower (-1.05).
