2024-09-23 16:00:19 Jammu and Kashmir Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Tariq Hameed Karra has reacted to the claims of BJP leaders on reforms in Jammu and Kashmir Strong reaction.
Kalra said that while transformation is indeed taking place in J&K, it is not what the BJP claims. Instead, the region has been transformed from a thriving tourist center into an experimental laboratory.
“The BJP’s so-called ‘transformation’ will only bring chaos and misery to the common man,” Kalra said.
“On the other hand, we in our tenure till 2014 took practical and diplomatic steps to restore peace in J&K without treating our citizens like laboratory animals and turning our country into a laboratory,” he added road.
Kalala stressed that the efforts of the Congress government have yielded tangible results and the people of J&K have also felt the results. He urged the BJP to put national interests above party politics and adopt pro-people policies.
“They should understand the sensitivity of the situation and the importance of the timing during this election,” Kara said.
“The BJP should act responsibly and put the needs of Jammu and Kashmir first instead of exploiting the situation for political gain. The people deserve better and not be used as pawns in political games.” Kala added.
