SP Somen Burma said that on August 28, the accused committed a robbery incident at the Bharat Jewelers store in Kotwali Nagar area of ​​Sultanpur police station. During the police investigation, the names of a total of 14 defendants came to light. So far, 11 of the accused, Pushpendra Singh, Sachin Singh, Tribhuvan Kori alias Lala, Vivek Singh, Vipin Singh, Durgesh Singh, Vinay Shukla, Arvind Yadav and Ajay Yadav, were arrested by the police in a clash and sent to jail.

Mangesh Yadav and Anuj Pratap Singh were killed in the clash, the SP said. Anuj Pratap Singh died in an encounter with the STF in Unnao district on Monday. Anuj Pratap Singh was one of the five accused who entered the bullion shop and committed the robbery. Apart from this, the district office also announced an award of Rs 1 lakh from September 4.

Anuj also committed bank robbery in Surat.
Even before this, Anuj Pratap Singh had committed a bank robbery in Surat, Gujarat. He was imprisoned. The police have so far recovered all gold jewelry, weighing about 2.6 kilograms, from the items seized in the entire case. In addition, the police also seized a total of 30 kilograms of silver jewelry. The remaining accused in the matter include Arbaaz, Furqan and Ankit Yadav. The STF and police are continuing to search for the trio.
