Prime Minister: There are ambitious goals to achieve in the third term

More than 13,000 Indian-Americans packed the Nassau Veterans Stadium, where the prime minister was delivering a speech. While most of them are from the New York and New Jersey area, Indian-Americans come from 40 states, organizers said. Sixty charter buses were used for transportation.
He praised the role played by Indian-Americans in strengthening India-US relations, calling them the brand ambassadors of India. Referring to the Sanskrit shloka, “He who gives gets gain,” the Prime Minister said wherever the Indian diaspora lives, they contribute to society and national development in various fields.
In his speech, the Prime Minister spoke about the celebration of democracy across the world, especially in India and the United States.
“While the elections in India are over, the elections in the United States are ongoing. The elections that have just been held in India are the largest so far in human history. We are even more proud when we see the scale of Indian democracy,” he said .
Modi praised the role played by Indian-Americans in making the country and community proud.
“Just yesterday, President Biden took me to his home in Delaware. His affection, his warmth, that moment touched my heart. This is respect for 140 billion Indians. This respect It’s for you, for your achievements, for the thousands of Indians living here,” he said, calling Indian Americans the brand ambassadors of India.
He also mentioned the recently concluded T-20 World Cup in the United States.
He said India now aspires to move from the fifth largest economy to the world’s third largest economy. “Today, the people of India are full of self-confidence and they have determination and determination to achieve their goals,” he said, adding that India’s development has now become a people’s movement.
