Tiger terror is spreading in Jakhanidhar tehsil of Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand. In view of the growing terror of tigers, the local government announced that nine schools in Dwarikar will remain closed from September 23 to 24. This is a decision made keeping in mind the safety of school students.

According to an order issued by Pauri district magistrate Ashish Chauhan, the decision was taken on the request of Jakhanidhar sub-divisional magistrate and Dwarikhal block education officer to ensure the safety of students.

Two police officers have written to the district magistrate informing that a student was attacked and injured by a tiger at Thangar village in Dwarikhal district at 7 am on Saturday. Apart from this, a tiger was also spotted near the Government Primary School in Tangal.

According to Press Trust of India, the district judge said in the order that nine schools and all Anganwadi centers in Dwarikar district will be on holiday from September 23 to 24 considering the safety of students.
