Jammu, September 22: Bharatiya Janata Party national general secretary and J&K in-charge Tarun Chugh on Sunday said that after the first phase of the assembly elections, it has become very clear that there is a strong force Support the BJP which will form the next government in J&K.
According to a press release, he was speaking at a public meeting in Chenani in support of the BJP candidate Balwant Singh Mankotia.
“NC-Cong and the People’s Democratic Party are misleading the people by promising to restore Article 370,” Chugh said, adding that “Article 370 has become history and no force on earth can bring it back”. He said NC-Cong wanted to wrest the reservation rights given to Paharis, Gujjars, Bakerwals and OBCs, Valmkis and appealed to the people to teach the parties a lesson in the assembly elections.
The senior BJP leader said the Congress and People’s Democratic Party were working on Pakistan’s agenda. “Remember these parties talked about autonomy and self-government. After the abrogation of Article 370, calm has returned to J&K and a record number of tourists are visiting J&K in a peaceful atmosphere. People have now understood that the North Congress and the People’s Democratic Party are trying to establish a new power in Kashmir Implement the Pakistan agenda and they will reject these dynastic parties in these elections,” he said. Chugh added that people fully support Prime Minister Modi.
The Bharatiya Janata Party leader said, “Modi Hai, Mujin Hai and J&K will become the most developed states in the country under Modi’s leadership”. He claimed that three families – Abdullah, Mufti and Gandhi – have been looting J&K for years but the BJP will create ‘Naya J&K’.
“These families have provided stones and guns to the youth, but we will provide laptops to the youth. The BJP is the guarantee of peaceful development in J&K. NC and Cong want to revive terrorism and riots in J&K,” he said.
Zug said that the statement by the Pakistani Defense Minister has made it clear that NC-Cong and PDP are working on Pakistan’s agenda, which is very shameful. He also held workers’ meetings in Udhampur and Ramnagar and formulated a campaign strategy for the assembly elections.
