After the changes in Delhi, there are reports of major changes in the ruling Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab. It is reported that four current ministers in Bhagwant Mann’s cabinet may be sacked. They will be replaced by five new faces in the cabinet and they can be sworn in on Monday.
According to sources, the AAP-led Punjab government has decided to sack four cabinet ministers. In their place, five new ministers will be inducted into the cabinet. The new ministers in Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s cabinet will be sworn in at Raj Bhavan on Monday.
Sources say that Chetan Singh Jodamajra, Brahm Shankar Jimpa, Balkar Singh and Anmol Gagan Mann will definitely leave the cabinet. Among the new faces, Barinder Kumar Goyal, Dr Ravijot, Taranpreet Singh Saund, Mahinder Bhagat and Hardeep Singh Mundia can all make it to the cabinet.
Meanwhile, the ministers who were removed/replaced all have important ministries. However, the government has not yet clarified why the change was made. The changes come after major changes in Delhi related to the upcoming by-elections and Panchayat elections in Punjab.
