Tick-borne viruses: Virus discovered before coronavirus spread in China affects human brain

The virus has been found in very small amounts in some species of the Transbaikal zokor, sheep, horses, pigs and mice. Infection with the virus can cause fever, fatigue, insomnia, headache, back pain, irritability, vomiting and diarrhea in humans.
