Apart from this, there will be laser shows on Shiv Mahima and Maa Ganga. People will also be able to see green fireworks. The Varanasi administration has started preparations for this.

This time Dev Diwali falls on November 15. On this day, the ghats of Kashi will be illuminated with lights. Apart from the crescent-shaped ghats of Kashi, ponds, ponds, reservoirs will also be lit up with lights. The aim is to light up 1.2 million lights this time. Apart from this, the historic ghats will also be illuminated with facade lights and electric lights. Diyas will also be lit up on the sandy beaches of Ganga so that a magnificent view of the Ganga ferry can be seen from the ghats.

Deputy Director of Tourism Department Rajendra Kumar Rawat said that out of 1.2 million lamps, 2.5 to 3.0 million will be made of cow dung. Many departments of the Yogi government will work on more than 84 riverbanks, ponds and ponds in Kashi to light lamps during Diwali. It will also tie up with institutions and social organizations for public participation. To make Diwali look more grand, the Uttar Pradesh government has declared it a provincial fair.

Lakhs of people from India and abroad reach Kashi on Diwali. Different events will be organized for them at the ghats. Laser show and green fireworks will also be held at the main ghats. The story of Ganga lineage and Shiva’s glory will be shown through laser show. Pollution-free green fireworks will be set off on the beach opposite Ganga to convey the message of environmental protection.
