The plot to overturn a train in Kanpur has failed again. An LPG cylinder was lying on the tracks near Maharajpur Prempur railway station. However, the accident was averted due to the intelligence of the locomotive driver, who immediately stopped the train and informed the authorities about the incident, following which police and railway officials rushed to the spot to investigate. This is the third such incident in Kanpur recently.

The location where the cylinder was found on the Kanpur track is near the Maharajpur Prempur railway station on the Delhi-Howrah railway line. However, the locomotive driver stopped the train after seeing the cylinder placed in the middle of the track, so no accident occurred. The forensic team that arrived at the scene found an air bottle and a beer can at the scene, which have been sent for investigation.
