Former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal will host a ‘Janata Ki Adalat’ event at Jantar Mantar on Sunday, September 22. Kejriwal will take on the BJP for the first time at Jantar Mantar after resigning as chief minister. During this, all Delhi ministers, MLAs and AAP leaders will join him.
According to sources, in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, Arvind Kejriwal and his colleague Manish Sisodia will campaign under the banner of ‘Janata Ki Adalat’ in different assembly chambers. Also, the focus will be on strategies to improve the damage done to the party’s image due to the jailing of AAP leaders.
Kejriwal resigned while addressing party workers and said he would not take up the post of chief minister until the court of public opinion proves that he is honest.
Let us tell you that after Kejriwal was in jail, the BJP kept pressuring him to resign and levelled serious corruption charges against the Aam Aadmi Party, but after his release from jail, Kejriwal announced his resignation as the president and took his place. It was decided to appoint the party’s trusted leader Atishi as the chief minister. Atishi was sworn in as the chief minister on Saturday.
