Providing information on X, External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, “Prime Minister Modi and Joe Biden held bilateral talks today in Wilmington, Delaware. The meeting was hosted by President Biden at his home. He said, “The discussions between the two leaders focused on how to further deepen the India-US bilateral partnership in areas of mutual interest. The two discussed many global and regional issues, including the Indo-Pacific region.

After the talks, PM Modi had left Biden’s house. The US President came outside to see him, hugged him and saw him off. Earlier, after returning home, Joe Biden hugged PM Modi and held his hand before taking him inside.

“India-US partnership is the strongest”

Joe Biden also shared a post on X, informing about the meeting with Prime Minister Modi. Biden wrote, “The partnership between the United States and India is stronger, closer, and more vibrant than at any time in history. When we sat down with Prime Minister Modi, I was amazed at our ability to explore new areas. Today’s meeting was similar. I can tell you that External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra, Indian Ambassador to China, were also present during this bilateral meeting.
