The terror of leopards has made life difficult for the people of Udaipur, Rajasthan. The man-eating leopard has claimed the lives of three people so far. The search for the leopard, which has resulted in three people becoming prey, has been intensified in Gogunda, Udaipur, and an army unit has also been involved. However, he has not been able to be traced yet.

Leopard kills three people in three days

On Wednesday, the leopard killed a 16-year-old girl, the news agency reported. On Thursday, it killed a 50-year-old man, and on Friday, it attacked a 40-year-old woman, who also died.

The incidents took place at different places in Gogonda, after which forest officials had to set up five cages to capture the leopard. Officials suspected that the man-eating leopard was hiding in the hilly area. The continuous attacks of the leopard have left the people of the village terrified. A rescue team of the forest department along with the villagers reached the hills to search for the animal.

Army team begins search operation

Gogonda police station SHO Shaitan Singh said an Indian Army team has also been called in to help in the search operation and the team is using drone cameras to monitor the entire area.

Not only that, teams from Rajsamand, Udaipur and Jodhpur were also actively involved in the search operation. Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Ajay Chittaura, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Naresh Soni and others were also involved in the search operation.
