In Aaj Tak’s special show ‘CM Saheb’, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav revealed the BJP’s victory in the Chhindwara Lok Sabha seat and his meeting with Kamal Nath. During the discussion, he also spoke about the reasons for the party’s good performance in the Lok Sabha elections in the state.

During the discussion, when he was asked why he met Kamal Nath. To this, the Chief Minister said, when I was the Chief Minister, Prime Minister Narendra Modi told me that when you become the Chief Minister, you should meet all the previous Chief Ministers. We met him and discussed any pending work that we can work on for the progress of the state. I met him (Kamal Nath) in this regard. We did not make any deal with Kamal Nath.

“We have an army of workers”

Meanwhile, when he was asked about winning the Chhindwara Lok Sabha seat, he said, look, Madhya Pradesh is a strong organisation and we have a big army of workers here. The Modi government has a very good impact among the public. As I said earlier, it is not the Congress party that is in trouble. Our workers were there on the ground, fighting under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the result was in our favour. Modi’s name is big in the elections and our organisation is also big. If more and more people want to join the BJP, why should we say no? That is why the big leaders of Chhindwara have joined us and are moving with us.

“Whether someone comes or not…”

Look, we have to win Chhindwara. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s third term is assured and he will win 29 out of 29 seats in the state. Chhindwara is a challenge for us. After independence and even after the Emergency, when we won all the seats, we did not win Chhindwara. I am happy that Chhindwara has come to us whether anyone comes or not.

BJP’s strong showing among MPs

Let me tell you that in the recently held Lok Sabha elections, the BJP performed well in Madhya Pradesh and won all 29 seats including Chhindwara, which is known as the stronghold of the Congress party.
