A 23-year-old youth died in Gurgaon, near Delhi, when a car driver was negligent and drove against the traffic. A video of the accident has also surfaced, in which the youth was seen riding his bike at high speed and just as he reached the bend, his bike collided with a car coming from the opposite direction.

The deceased has been identified as Akshat Garg. The video of the accident went viral on social media, in which sparks were seen between the bike and the car after the collision, with parts of the bike flying in the air. Akshat’s friends shouted and reached to the side of the car, where they found him lying unconscious on the side of the car.

The people present immediately called an ambulance. So, the water was poured, and the friends standing nearby kept calling him. But after a few seconds, Akshat stopped responding.

The person who was driving against the traffic was identified as Kuldeep Thakur, who obtained bail from the police station soon after the incident. The police questioned him on this.

Akshat’s mother questions police

When the accused got bail, Akshat’s mother was furious. He demanded justice for his son and accused the police of not helping. Talking to Aaj Tak, Akshat Garg’s mother and brother made serious allegations against the police. He said our FIR was not registered initially and when we put pressure on them, they registered the FIR after a long time.

The family claimed that the police were not answering their calls and were not giving us any updates. After 6 days we have not even received a report from the Prime Minister, Akshat’s mother cried and asked if the policeman’s son had died, would he have granted bail to the accused in 30 minutes?

The problem is that Akshat was driving at high speed. He said it was a main road and he was driving at the speed limit. Akshat’s mother said: “Did he leave just because he had a BJP sticker or because of political pressure? How could he be abandoned? The problem is how could he not have a driving license for so many days.

“Leaders come when they need votes and this will be the week when no one comes to help us,” he said, who is the sole breadwinner for his family.
