When a new series of iPhones is launched, you can get a glimpse of the craze for the luxury iPhone. A similar scene was witnessed outside the Apple store in BKC, Mumbai on Friday, with people queuing up in long queues. Meanwhile, the surprise further increased when it was learned that fast delivery platforms such as Blinkit, Zepto and BigBasket were also delivering iPhone 16 to homes within minutes.
Amid the headache of waiting in queues, iPhone fans’ eyes lit up when Blinkit announced that it would deliver iPhone 16 within 10 minutes in selected major cities in partnership with Apple authorized reseller Unicorn Store. Zepto and BigBasket also joined the competition. As soon as this news came out, social media once again set off a wave of enthusiasm.
However, iPhones on the Quick Commerce platform are currently limited to the base models of iPhone 16 and 16 Plus. Pro models and high storage options are still not available for quick delivery. Meanwhile, e-commerce platforms including Amazon and Flipkart are still leading in terms of easy payments, offers and EMI options, but iPhone deliveries will end in a day or two.
The iPhone 16 is priced at Rs 79,900 in India for the base model with 128GB storage. On the other hand, the iPhone 16 Plus is priced at Rs 89,900 for the 128GB variant. Both devices also come in 256GB and 512GB storage options.
