Jammu, Sept 20: Senior BJP leader Ravinder Raina on Friday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been working tirelessly to improve the lives of the poor while the Indian National Congress and the Congress have been working hard to ensure the release of terrorists and stone-throwers.
“PM Modi has provided free housing of Rs 5 lakh, free ration, free gas cylinders and health insurance for the poor, whereas NC-Cong has never cared for the poor,” Raina said while addressing the people at Nowshera Nuniaar. This is his second consecutive election as MP from Nowshera constituency.
He said the Modi government is a true well-wisher for the poor and backward people.
Raina said the Nepali Congress had promised to release terrorists and stone-throwers. “It is now clear that the Nepali Congress sympathizes with terrorists and wants to revive terrorism,” he said, adding, “Prime Minister Modi has established peace in Jammu and Kashmir and the BJP will never allow the Nepali Congress-Congress to achieve its evil designs.”
The NC Congress has no connection with the common people and the poor, they only care about militants and stone-throwers and want to take the state of Jammu and Kashmir back to the days of unrest and militancy.
“The Nepali Congress party said they will restore Article 370, but it will not happen as long as the BJP is in power,” Raina said, adding that “their ties with Pakistan have also been exposed after the statement made by Pakistani Defence Minister Khawaja Asif”.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has established peace in Kashmir and currently the number of tourists visiting Kashmir is at an all-time high. He said that cinemas in the valley have been operating for more than 30 years and people are living with dignity without any fear.
“The BJP is currently very strong and will form the next government in Jammu and Kashmir,” Raina said, calling on the people to teach the Jammu and Kashmir National Party a lesson in the election.
