Mithilesh Kumar, a youth arrested for fake IPS, told reporters that a person named Manoj Singh from Kaila district offered him a police job and in return he demanded Rs 2 lakh (Rs 30,000) from him. Mithilesh took two lakh rupees from his uncle and gave it to Manoj Singh so that he could get a job in the police department.

Mislesh returned home happily in the uniform, took blessings from his mother and set out to meet Manoj Singh. Mislesh said that Manoj Singh called him in uniform and demanded the remaining Rs 30,000. Mislesh was about to meet her and stopped at Sikandra Chowk for some time, following which the police arrested him.
