Vodafone Idea to hold emergency investor meeting on September 23 after setback in Supreme Court’s AGR ruling

Telecom company Vodafone Idea Ltd on September 20 announced that it will hold a conference call with investors and analysts on September 23 to provide “updates”. The news comes after the Supreme Court dismissed a series of pleas filed by companies including Vodafone Idea and Bharti Airtel seeking correction of alleged errors in adjusted gross income.

Vodafone Idea’s shares have faced selling pressure in the past two trading sessions following the Supreme Court verdict. The stock has fallen nearly 20% in the past two days.
