Indian Institute of Technology Admissions: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay is emerging as the top choice for engineering studies. Like last year, this time the top holders of JEE Advanced (entrance exam) have also been admitted to IIT Bombay. The institute recently released the data of top 1000 rankings in JEE-Advanced, out of which 246 students chose IIT Bombay to study various Undergraduate (UG) courses.
In July, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) concluded the counselling for admission to various UG courses in IITs for the academic year 2024-25. Although Indian Institute of Technology Madras held the JoSAA this year, it did not release any information related to seat allotment. Now Indian Institute of Technology Bombay has released an admission data.
According to the data released by IIT-Bombay, top 10 out of top 1000 in JEE-Advanced, 24 out of top 25, 47 out of top 50, 66 out of top 75, 72 out of top 100, 179 out of top 500 and 246 out of top 1000 students have chosen IIT-Bombay. Let us tell you that the top 10 students of JEE Advanced have also been admitted to IIT-Bombay for the academic year 2023-24 and 2022-23.
