Shocking news has come out from the music industry. Renowned Sambalpuri singer Ruksana Bano has passed away. She was fighting the battle of her life at AIIMS Bhubaneswar for the past 15 days. Despite all efforts, he could not be saved and the singer passed away on Wednesday (September 18). Ruksana’s death has come as a shock to fans and people from her community.
Singer Rukhsana dies
Singh’s family has different claims about the entire incident. According to him, Ruksana was slowly poisoned by another Sambalpuri singer. However, these claims are yet to be confirmed. Initial reports suggest that Ruksana fell ill while shooting for a song 15 days ago. On August 27, he was admitted to a hospital in Bhawanipatna and then shifted to Bolangir Bhima Bhoi Medical College and then to a private hospital in Bargarh. As his condition did not improve, Ruksana was admitted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar. But his life could not be saved there.
Cause of death not disclosed
When Rukhsana was rushed to a private hospital in Bargarh, a doctor named Santosh Tate told Rukhsana that she had scrub typhus. His report came back positive. He also reportedly suffered from pneumonia, liver infection and heart disease. She was on a ventilator. AIIMS officials have not yet shared official information about the case. Rukhsana was just 27 years old at the time. The cause of his death has not yet been revealed.
Family members accuse
Rukhsana’s death has brought great grief to her family. Her mother and sister have claimed that a rival singer from western Odisha had poisoned Rukhsana. He claimed that Rukhsana had received threats earlier as well. Rukhsana’s sister Ruby Bano while speaking to the media claimed that her sister had consumed some juice during the shoot and after consuming it she fell ill. Rukhsana’s mother has released a video pleading for justice for her daughter.
