A horrific video of a bike crashing into a Mahindra 3XO SUV in Gurgaon, Haryana, near Delhi on Sunday has surfaced. In the accident, a young man named Akshat Garg was killed while riding a high-speed bike.
Let us tell you that late Akshat Garg was riding his bike at a very high speed on Sunday evening when a Mahindra 3XO came from the wrong side and hit the biker. As soon as the collision took place, Akshat jumped off the bike and fell far on the road behind the vehicle. Despite the early arrival of the ambulance, Akshat Garg could not be saved.
In the video, Akshat’s friend Pradyuman is also seen trying to wake up his friend Akshat. She is also heard crying. Pradyuman also asks the accused, who was driving the SUV, why he was driving against the traffic. He is seen asking people to call the police in the video.
Friends tried to revive him but Akshat’s life could not be saved.
An eyewitness to the accident, Pradyuman, a friend of the deceased and also the complainant in the case, claimed that it was a fast lane and the accused was driving on the wrong side.
Police arrest young man driving SUV
The police have registered a case under Section 106 (causing death due to negligence), Section 281 (rash driving), Section 324 (4) (causing mischief causing damage exceeding Rs 20,000), Section 166 (compensation after motor vehicle accident). The accused Kuldeep Thakur, who was driving the SUV, was arrested by the police at the scene of the accident. However, he was later released on bail.
According to Pradumna, the video was not shot by the Gurgaon police. In this case, Aaj Tak has contacted the Gurgaon police to find out whether the accused has undergone alcohol or drug tests. The Gurgaon police has not yet responded to this.
