A man-eating wolf has created terror in Baraichi, Uttar Pradesh. So far, they have killed nine people and injured dozens. According to the forest department, only one lame wolf is left, while the other five have been captured. But at the same time, the villagers of Mahsi tehsil have made such a claim that anyone would be shocked to hear.

According to the news agency, some villagers said they saw new wolves, including a lame wolf. In this case, people who were relieved after catching five man-eating wolves fell into panic again. However, District Forest Officer (DFO) Ajit Pratap Singh rejected this claim. He said that it can be confirmed only after investigation.

DFO also expressed concern that even if the wolves did not eat humans, if efforts were made to capture them, the wolves might attack humans in retaliation, creating new problems.

Let us tell you that a pack of six wolves has been terrorizing residents of many villages in Baleć. Since mid-July, these wolves have killed nine people, including seven children, and injured more than 20 people. Five of the wolves were captured during the “Operation Wolf” operation, and efforts to capture the sixth are still ongoing.

The villagers’ statements are shocking

According to villagers, four wolves were spotted near the farmhouse of BJP MLC Padmasen Chaudhary in Margalla village on Wednesday evening. The place is just 5 km from Sisaiya Churamani village, where most of the wolf attacks take place.

The fifth wolf was caught

Speaking to a news agency, MLC Padmasen Choudhary said: “Around 4 pm, villagers saw a pack of four wolves, one of which was lame, in the mango orchard near my farmhouse. There is a wolf den near the place. Due to rains and rising water levels in the river, wild animals are frequenting the area.”

The forestry sector is not ready to accept

However, the DFO said that no man-eating wolves seemed to be present in the new pack. He said that there were reports of wolves being spotted in some villages in Mahsi tehsil Ramgaon area. However, this has not been confirmed. Instructions have been given to intensify patrols as a precautionary measure.

According to the DFO, an officer has been dispatched to the scene. He found wolf footprints. But judging by their movements, the man-eating wolves were not part of the pack. We are keeping a close eye on the area where the wolves were reported on Wednesday. Only after investigation can we determine what type of wolves they were.
