Bihar’s renowned IPS Shivdeep Lande resigns, talks about his future plans

Shivdeep Wamanrao Lande, a well-known IAPS officer in Bihar cadre has resigned. Recently Shivdeep was posted as IG Purnia Range. Shivdeep Lande himself gave this information through a social media post.

Shivdeep Lande said, “Dear Bihar, today I resign from the government after serving for the past 18 years. All these years, I have always considered Bihar above myself and my family. I sincerely apologize if I have made any mistakes during my time as a government servant. Today, I resign from the Indian Police Service (IPS) but I will remain in Bihar and Bihar will continue to be my workplace in the future.

Although Shivdeep Lande is an IPS officer of Bihar cadre, he has also served in Maharashtra. When Shivdeep Lande was posted as SP in Bihar STF, he was transferred to Maharashtra cadre. When he returned to Bihar, he had assumed the post of DIG in Maharashtra ATS.

Shivdeep Wamanrao Lande, who hails from Akola, Maharashtra, had a difficult childhood. His father was a poor farmer. Shivdeep Lande was the elder of two brothers. He grew up in very difficult circumstances. With the help of a scholarship, Shivdeep Lande studied engineering and later topped the UPSC.
