In Palghar district of Maharashtra, the police did a remarkable job in solving a murder case in just six hours. A case of murder of a 34-year-old woman took place in a neighbouring area of ​​Mumbai. After receiving a report, the police immediately swung into action and arrested the husband who was accused of murdering his wife. He is being interrogated in police custody.

Jayant Bajbale, deputy commissioner of police, Virar, said the accused has been identified as Gopal Rathod (37). He was under the influence of alcohol and stabbed his wife Bharti to death at their house in Phulpara area around 4.30 am on Friday. The argument between the two lasted for a long time. The accused also had doubts about his wife’s character.

In this regard, the victim’s daughter has lodged a complaint with the local police station. After this, the police used CCTV camera footage and an active informant network to find out the whereabouts of the accused. Thereafter, based on the information, the accused Gopal Rathod was arrested at Koppal station while trying to flee to Karnataka.

Let us tell you that recently the Palghar police also solved another murder case quickly. While solving this triple murder case, the police arrested a woman who is the wife of the main accused. According to the police, a 31-year-old woman was arrested on Tuesday for the murder of an elderly couple and their daughter.

Police Inspector Dattarai Kindre said the arrested woman has been identified as Saiba Begum Ansari. She is the wife of Arif Ansari, the main accused in the murder case. The bodies of Mukund Bechardas Rathore (75), his wife Kanchan (72) and daughter Sangeeta (52) were found in a house in Wada tehsil Nehroli on August 30. Following this, the accused Arif was arrested from Uttar Pradesh.
