In Lucknow, an associate professor of PGI was digitally arrested and police have now arrested 5 criminals in the case. The professor’s mobile received a call from an unknown number.

After receiving the call, the caller introduced himself as an officer of CBI, Mumbai. He was told that you have been registered against a case of money laundering. Your account has been used for this. They were influenced by telling them these things.

After this, the PGI professor was digitally arrested and all the details of his bank accounts were taken and he was digitally arrested for 5 days. There was more than 2 crore rupees in the account. All the money was transferred into different accounts.

The defendants claimed that after the digital arrest, they were immediately transferred to different accounts, and then different boys bought USTD through the Binance app and took it back. In this way, we exchanged the fraudulent funds into USTD and could withdraw them at any time without any name in it.

The accused said that one accused named Rishikesh used to talk to different people while committing the scam. Gopal, Pravachan, Rahul and Ganesh lived with him. The details of the people who had to be arrested digitally were obtained through various accounts and channels created by the scammers and hackers on the Telegram app.
