While travelling without a ticket in a train in Bihar’s Katihar state, a woman passenger sitting in a sleeper berth created drama for hours in the AC compartment. She kept arguing with the TT and passengers present. The woman, wearing a lawyer’s uniform and claiming to be a legal counsel, demanded to appear before the court for a decision. Due to the woman’s agitation, passengers nearby also complained to the TT and other railway staff present.

The incident took place on the Seemanchal Express. Railway staff told reporters that after the train reached Katihar Junction, the woman got off the train and went somewhere. According to RPF reports, around 4 am on Wednesday, a woman boarded the 12488 Seemanchal Express train without a ticket. When the woman was asked to show her ticket, she started making a scene.

According to RPF officials and TTE, the woman started misbehaving with the TTE on duty. Moreover, when the passengers nearby complained to stop making noise, she also started abusing them. The video of the incident went viral on social media. In this picture, the woman accused the TTE of tearing her ticket.

When the lady was told that the seat was empty and if your ticket had been torn then you should tell your seat number, the lady started making a scene saying there was dirt on the train and TTE was harassing her. When other passengers asked her to cooperate with TTE and keep quiet, she started threatening to take everyone to court.

The RPF was then called to the scene. After the RPF officer explained, the woman still disagreed. All passengers were unhappy with the woman’s behavior. There were no female officers among the RPF officers. For this reason, the RPF did not take any immediate action. The RPF officers and soldiers also left after saying that the woman would be detained at Katihar station.

After the train stopped at Katihar station, the woman took advantage of the crowd to leave. It is understood that the woman had travelled from the DDU of the second AC without a ticket. Due to the lack of female staff, the railway authorities could not take any action during the train commotion. Taking advantage of this, the woman took the opportunity to leave.
