The video of the brutal shooting which has gone viral on social media is from Bhim Patti village in the Bhithia police station area of ​​the district. A cultural programme was organised at the tribute meeting in Bhim Patti village on September 13. As soon as Mr. Raj, SP of Bhojpur, came to know about the viral video. He immediately reported the matter to Bhithia police station and ordered the registration of an FIR.

It is learnt that a cultural event was organized on Friday at the funeral of late Jagbali Yadav, a resident of Belwania Bhim Patti village in Bihiya police station area. The famous Bhojpuri singer Tuntun Yadav and many other singers were also present on the occasion.

Meanwhile, a video of the violent shooting was captured by a viewer watching the cultural program on his mobile phone camera and went viral on social media.

Soon those persons will also be arrested. A preliminary complaint has been registered under the Arms Act and the Speakers Act.

The SP said that five unidentified persons, including the three named, have been charged in the case. Legal action will be taken against the organizers and those involved in the firing. The police are also conducting raids on these persons. However, the brazen behavior of these youths in firing at cultural programs and flouting the law has also raised questions about the strict attitude of the police and the government.
