Vegetable crops destroyed as fields flooded

As the fields were flooded, the entire vegetable crop was destroyed. The water level of Ganga rose so fast that people did not even have a chance to save their vegetable crops. Farmers said the floods have caused huge losses. Meanwhile, people living in settlements are terrified. They believe that if the floods increase, they may also have to leave their homes.

Farmers in coastal areas suffered losses

The water level of the Ganga in Chandauli continues to rise and the water of the Ganga has now reached the vicinity of the village. In this situation, the villagers living along the Ganga have increased their concerns about floods. At the same time, farmers who cultivate along the banks of the Ganga have also suffered huge losses. Here in Mathura, this situation has also been happening for two consecutive days. In view of the heavy rains, Mathura District Magistrate Shailendra Kumar Singh and Senior Superintendent of Police Shailesh Kumar Pandey inspected various villages in Tehsil Chhata. He inspected villages such as Kamal, Lapur, Degaon and others in Chhata. The district magistrate said that district government officials are continuously visiting areas affected by the rains.

50,000 people affected by floods

The situation here in Gonda also remains critical. The water level of the Ghagra river is 91 cm above the danger mark. The floods have caused severe damage to 25 villages in Colonelganj and Tarabganj tehsil in the district. Water is visible everywhere. Around 50,000 people in the district are suffering due to the floods. Such is the situation that houses in Beyonda Manjha, Duttnagar Bahadur Pur and other villages in Tarabganj tehsil have been flooded. Bayonda in-charge Keshav Ram Yadav said that the flood situation has become serious. The government is providing as much help as possible. The information department sent a message to the group saying that 36,500 people have been affected by the floods.

Hundreds of crops submerged in water

The situation in Sitapur seemed out of control on Monday as lakhs of cubic metres of water was released from the barrage. The floods are taking a horrific form. 80 villages have been affected by floods due to the rising water level of the Saryu river. About 25,000 people have been affected. The situation in nearby villages is that the floods have surrounded the village from all sides, making it an isolated island. Hundreds of crops are submerged in water. Roads in about 30 villages have been cut off due to the strong current. There has been a huge protest in the area after seeing water everywhere. Villagers are gathering their families and heading to safety by boats, on foot, etc.

The situation in the riverine areas has worsened due to a sharp rise in the water level of the Saryu river. About 80 villages have been affected, including Buchaupurwa, Dhodhepurwa, Lodhanpurwa, Nageshwar Purwa, Pitambar Purwa, Baiju Purwa, Bakshipurwa, Fattepurwa, Jagrooppurwa, Kewra, Akhari, Angraura, Mishranpurwa, Kewra, Sotipurwa, Paramgonda, Shankarpurwa, Babakuti, Ataura, Kanarkhi, Bagasti. Hundreds of Bihas fields are submerged in water.
