In Deoria, a case of a woman being tied to a tree and burned with a hot iron rod came to light. A video of the incident was also released. When the victim’s husband came to her rescue, he was also beaten. The woman was treated so cruelly for allegedly committing theft.

The incident created a stir in the village. Based on a complaint from the victim’s father-in-law, the police registered a serious case against the accused Kamlesh Yadav and others. Following this, five accused were arrested. The accused allegedly arrested the woman on suspicion of theft. First he was beaten and left. Later, they came to his house to interrogate him.

Taliban sentenced for theft
Umashankar, a resident of Usra Bazaar in Surauli police station, complained to the police that his daughter-in-law Sanju Devi was suffering from mental illness. On September 14, Kamlesh Yadav, a resident of Jungle Village in Partha, took him to inquire about the situation. He was then caught, tied to a tree and burnt to death with a hot iron rod. When his son went to rescue Guddu, he was also tied to a tree and beaten.

Police arrested five suspects
Deoria SP Sankalp Sharma said that the incident took place in the Surauli police station area. A 35-year-old woman was tied to a tree and beaten by residents of a neighboring village. A case has been registered in this regard. Currently, the case has been registered and five suspects have been arrested.
