District Election Officer Shohpin Shahid Saleem has installed 10 LED display screens in the integrated control room of Shohpin Mini Secretariat to monitor and observe the voting process at polling stations in the district.
The installation of webcasting equipment as per the guidelines of the Election Commission of India (ECI) is aimed at ensuring fairness and transparency of elections.
All polling stations are monitored by dedicated personnel in the control room through live webcast. Five systems have been installed in each constituency in the district.
The Chief Observer of each constituency shall also observe all activities at the polling station from the control room to ensure orderly and smooth conduct of the election.
