Meanwhile, according to weather forecaster Skymet, light to moderate rain will occur over South Konkan and Goa, coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, South Odisha, Telangana, Vidarbha, South Chhattisgarh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, moderate rain in parts of Madhya Pradesh and heavy rain is possible in some places.

Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, East Rajasthan, parts of Gujarat, Marathwada, Konkan and Goa, interior Karnataka, Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and parts of northeast India are likely to receive light to moderate rain. Light rain is likely to occur over Sikkim, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, western Rajasthan and central Maharashtra.
