A court in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, on Tuesday sentenced a man to 40 years in jail for brutally assaulting two innocent girls in a forest. Special POCSO court judge Parul Jain also imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh on the perpetrator. We inform you that the fine amount will be paid as compensation to the victim.

In fact, the incident happened on May 27, 2023. In a village in Sherkot, Bijnor, two innocent girls aged 5 and 6 were taken to the forest and raped by a man named Manoj Kumar. Let me tell you that on that day, the aunt of the victim girl was holding a wedding, in which a girl from Xiyuan was a guest. I can tell you that after the incident, senior police officers also rushed to the scene and conducted an investigation.

Innocent child raped under the pretext of performing DJ dance

The incident came to light when the two girls were returning home from the forest in a dejected mood. When questioned by their family, the girls told Uncle Manoj that he had taken them to perform DJ dance and had done something wrong by taking them to the forest. The girls’ clothes were stained with blood. Following this, former police officer Neeraj Kumar Jadaun deployed several teams and arrested the accused Manoj Kumar, a resident of Wajidpur village, after about four days.

40 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs.1 lakh or Rs.2 lakh

Let us tell you that the accused Manoj seems to be the distant uncle of the victim girl. Meanwhile, after catching the suspect, the police conducted a thorough investigation of the case and collected all the necessary evidence and witnesses against the suspect and produced them in the court. Thereafter today, about 16 months later, the POCSO court special judge Parul Jain sentenced the convict Manoj Kumar to 40 years of rigorous imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh and Rs 20,000.
