Infinix Zero Flip 5G to launch soon; design, specifications leaked

Infinix Zero Flip 5G is expected to be launched soon, with the company officially teasing the launch of the phone but without confirming the launch date or availability details. Before any concrete announcement, promotional images of the purported foldable smartphone have surfaced online. The images showcase the design of the phone as well as some of its key features. Meanwhile, a Vietnamese retailer has leaked the expected specifications of the clamshell foldable phone. Notably, the company is set to launch the Infinix Zero 40 5G in India on Wednesday.

In an official X post, Infinix revealed that the Zero Flip 5G will be launched soon. While the exact launch timeline has not yet been confirmed, Vietnamese retailer Queen Mobile leaked a promotional image of the phone in a Facebook post. The phone comes in black and pink color schemes and features a rectangular cover display and dual rear camera units. The lower half of the rear panel appears to have a marble-like pattern.

According to the leaked images, the Infinix Zero Flip 5G may come with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED main screen and a 3.64-inch AMOLED cover display. Both displays support 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

According to the images, the Infinix Zero Flip 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 SoC, along with support for LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 onboard storage. It is expected to be powered by Android 14-based XOS 14.5 and get AI-powered features.

In terms of optics, the Infinix Zero Flip 5G is likely to come with dual rear cameras consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 10.8-megapixel secondary sensor. The front camera is expected to come with a 12-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calling. Both the front and rear cameras are said to support 4K 30 FPS video recording.

The Infinix Zero Flip 5G may be equipped with a 4,590mAh battery with support for 70W wired fast charging. Connectivity options on the phone are expected to include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC. The phone is expected to be equipped with dual stereo speakers with support for DTS, Hi-Res Audio, and TUV certification.
