“This is Modi’s guarantee”
Prime Minister Modi said the BJP’s priority is to protect all the rights of anyone living in Jammu and Kashmir, irrespective of religion or class.
PM Modi said, “To promote your faith, the Jammu and Kashmir BJP has framed many resolutions for you. Today, we remember Tika Lal Taplu and pay tribute to him. More than three decades have passed since he was killed by terrorists on this day. After his murder, atrocities against Kashmiri Pandits have been unleashed. The BJP has raised the voice of Kashmiri Pandits and worked for their interests. The Jammu and Kashmir BJP has announced the Tika Lal Taplu scheme for the return and rehabilitation of Kashmiri Hindus. This will speed up the process of Kashmiri Hindus getting their rights.”
PM Modi: Terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir is counting its last breath
Addressing a public meeting, PM Modi said: “You will remember that as soon as it got dark, an unannounced curfew was imposed here. This was a situation where even the Home Minister of the Congress central government did not dare to go to Lal Chowk. Terrorism is now moribund in Jammu and Kashmir. The changes that have taken place here in the last 10 years are nothing less than a dream. The new Jammu and Kashmir is being built with stones that were earlier used to attack the police and army.
PM Modi: Three dynasties together destroyed Jammu and Kashmir
PM Modi said, “This Jammu and Kashmir Assembly election is fought between three families and youth of Jammu and Kashmir. These three families… one family is from the Congress, one family is from the National Conference and one family is from the People’s Democratic Party. What these three families have done to you together is nothing less than a sin. These three families are responsible for the destruction of Jammu and Kashmir over the years. In recent years, Jammu and Kashmir has entered a new phase of development. All this is due to the youth here. Today, I salute the zeal and passion of the youth of Jammu and Kashmir, whether they are daughters or sons.
PM Modi: Familyists don’t want young people to enter politics
PM Modi said, “Since independence, our beloved Jammu and Kashmir has been targeted by foreign powers. After that, nepotism started hollowing out this wonderful country. The political parties you trusted did not care about your children. Those parties promoted only their children. My youth in Jammu and Kashmir continued to be sharpened in terrorism. The political parties that preached dynasticism have always taken pleasure in misleading you. These people have never allowed a new leadership to emerge in Jammu and Kashmir.
PM Modi: Elections will decide fate of Jammu and Kashmir
PM Modi said, “This election in Jammu and Kashmir will decide the fate of Jammu and Kashmir. Our beloved Jammu and Kashmir has been the target of foreign powers since independence. After that, nepotism started hollowing out this wonderful country. Here, the party you trust does not care about your children. He just and only moves his children. My youth in Jammu and Kashmir continued to be involved in terrorism. And the political parties that preach familism continue to amuse themselves by misleading you. These people never allow new leadership to emerge anywhere in Jammu and Kashmir.
PM Modi said, “You all have arrived here from different parts of Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban. You have travelled for hours to reach here, but there is no sign of fatigue on your faces and enthusiasm is everywhere.”
