It was perhaps the anger of the people who were fed up of the daily molestation in trains that led to the death of Prashant, a railway employee accused of molestation in Barauni Humsafar Express, by beating him to death. The incident happened on Tuesday night when an 11-year-old girl accused the employee of indecent touch. Angered by this, the girl’s family and the passengers in the compartment beat him so badly that he died. Now his post-mortem report has also come.

The postmortem report claimed that 31 bones and 9 ribs of the body were broken due to the beating by the railway employee. His skin was torn at four places due to being dragged in the compartment. After the postmortem report of the deceased accused railway employee came on Thursday, Kanpur GRP station in-charge Om Narayan Singh said that a family was travelling in the N-1 coach of Humsafar Express running from Barauni. Railway employee Prashant was also lying on the floor in the same compartment.

Before going to Lucknow, Prashant had talked to his mother on phone. During this time, an 11-year-old minor girl had accused him of molesting her several times. The girl had said that the uncle was repeatedly pulling her leg and was doing obscene acts with her delicate body parts. When the train left Lucknow for Kanpur, the girl told her mother that she wanted to go to the toilet. In the toilet, the girl cried and told her mother about Prashant’s entire misdeed.

After this, the mother told the people in the compartment about his misdeed. Angry people attacked Prashant. Whoever was in the compartment, rushed to him and started beating Prashant. During this, people came to Kanpur Central while beating him and around 2:30 in the night, the girl’s family handed Prashant over to GRP Kanpur. After this, on their complaint, Prashant son of Arun Kumar, resident of Sarmastpur Chandan Patti Muzaffarpur Bihar, was arrested by the police.

According to the police, Prashant got a job in the railways after the death of his father Arun Kumar. He was a fourth class employee. After arresting Prashant, the police were doing his paperwork, when he started falling while sitting on a chair, the Kanpur GRP police immediately took him to the city’s PM hospital for medical checkup. But he died before reaching there. After this, Prashant’s post-mortem was conducted. Along with this, his uncle Rajkishore living in Bihar was informed.

Police is investigating on the complaint of the girl’s mother

On Thursday, his uncle and nephew took Prashant’s dead body to Bihar via Kushinagar. When Raj Kishore was asked if he would file a complaint on Prashant’s death, he said that he was mentally ill. His wife had separated from him with her daughter due to this. His actions were such that we do not want to file any complaint right now. When the police assessed the post-mortem report on Thursday, the truth of the beating that Prashant faced came to light.

Prashant’s postmortem was done by a panel of three doctors. Its videography was also done. According to the postmortem report, Prashant’s bones were broken in 31 places. In which 9 ribs of the body were completely shattered. After this incident, the question is also being raised that when accused Prashant was being beaten for one and a quarter hours in the coach, where were the TT and attendant of the coach. By the way, when Aaj Tak spoke to the girl’s mother on the phone regarding this matter, she said that after this incident, someone in our house has fallen ill.
