Pune: Husband did not have money to buy a phone, wife committed suicide

A shocking case of suicide has come to light from Pune, Maharashtra. Where a married woman committed suicide by hanging herself. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot, took the body in custody and sent it for post-mortem and started investigating the case. The deceased has been identified as 20-year-old Shivani Gopal Sharma.

It is being told that Shivani took this step because she did not get a mobile phone. Shivani was insisting on a mobile phone from her husband Gopal Sharma for the last few months. Gopal works in a small job in a private company, due to financial problems he was not able to buy a mobile phone. But the wife was not understanding this and was insisting on buying a phone.

The woman committed suicide by hanging herself

When her insistence could not be fulfilled, Shivani committed suicide by hanging herself in her house at around 7 pm on Wednesday evening. When her husband Gopal returned home from work, he saw that his wife was hanging from the noose.

Police registered a case and started investigation

After this he informed the police. After reaching the spot, the police brought down the body and sent it for postmortem. The police also recorded the statement of the deceased’s husband. The police say that further action will be taken as per the investigation.
