Ganesh Mahotsav 2024 Date: There are mainly eight forms of Lord Ganesha. The solution to every problem of life is hidden in these forms. Among the eight forms of Ashtavinayak, Siddhi Vinayak is considered to be the most auspicious. He is called Siddhi Vinayak because he appeared on a mountain called Siddhatek. It is also believed that his trunk is towards Siddhi. Therefore, he is Siddhi Vinayak. Every crisis and obstacle can be destroyed by merely worshipping Siddhi Vinayak.
The biggest feature of the Lord in Siddhivinayak form is Bappa’s trunk. Usually, the trunk of Ganapati is bent towards the left. But since Lord Siddhivinayak’s trunk is bent towards the right, he is called Navasacha Ganapati i.e. the Ganapati who fulfills wishes. It is believed that wherever there is an idol of Lord Ganesha with a trunk bent towards the right, it is called Siddhapeeth.
Form of Lord Siddhi Vinayak
It is believed that before the creation of the universe, Lord Vishnu worshipped him on Siddhtek mountain. Only after worshipping him, Brahmadev was able to create the universe without any hindrance. Siddhi Vinayak is a Chaturbhuji (four-armed) form. He has a lotus and a goad in his upper hands. He has a pearl necklace in one hand and a bowl of modaks in the other. His wives Riddhi and Siddhi are also with him.
There is a trinity on the forehead and a snake necklace around the neck. Lord Siddhivinayak is seated on a wonderful silver pavilion with a golden peak on the platform of the sanctum sanctorum, full of fine craftsmanship. Devotees become overwhelmed by seeing him. This idol of Bappa is made of black stone. His idol is four-armed. On both sides of Ganapati are his two wives Riddhi and Siddhi, who are the symbol of wealth, prosperity, success and fulfillment of all wishes.

How to worship Siddhi Vinayak?
Install Lord Siddhivinayak on Ganesh Mahotsav or Chaturthi Tithi. You can also install him on Wednesday. Offer Durva and Modak to him every morning. Chant his mantras and also do Aarti. Wherever you install Siddhivinayak, keep lighting a ghee lamp there at both the times. Worshiping this most auspicious form of Lord Ganesha along with chanting special mantras can be like an infallible Kamach for you.
