Tamannaah objected to the fact that she was supposed to be bald in the climax of Stree 2? The director was hesitant

Rajkumar Rao-Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2 is doing record-breaking business at the box office. Tamannaah Bhatia also has a cameo in the film, where she is seen doing an item dance as Shama. After the song, Sarkata picks her up and takes her away. After this, the actress can be seen without hair.

In a conversation with India Today, director Amar Kaushik said that he was initially very hesitant when he went to talk to Tamannaah for this role. But then seeing the actress’ response, his hesitation vanished and he became normal. The director thought that Tamannaah would refuse this role but that did not happen.

Amar Kaushik said- Like the first film, the script demanded a dance number like Nora’s. But this time, we wanted to make sure that the dance was not just a dance but had some meaning too. The story was such that we thought of introducing Shama and then thought of including someone who could dance well. And also be a good actress. We had only two or three suggestions, out of which Tamanna had done a show with Maddock, we felt she was the right choice.

The Stree 2 director said that he was hesitant to contact her. “I was a little hesitant to ask her because the character had to be shown bald in the climax sequence. I contacted her, but she was very comfortable about it. She did not even question the scene or show any attitude. She was completely ready. When actors come with this energy, it works. Now everyone is talking about this character.”

The film has done a business of 3.40 crores in India on the 26th day. Stree 2 has collected about 530 crores so far.
