Heavy rain has caused waterlogging and traffic jams in many areas of Delhi. This problem is going to increase due to office timings. People left for office early in the morning amidst rain but due to waterlogging at many places, the speed of vehicles has come to a halt and vehicles are seen crawling. In such a situation, it is advisable to avoid those areas of Delhi where waterlogging is certain due to rain. However, rain has brought relief from humidity and heat.

According to Skymet, Delhi and surrounding areas may see the spread and intensity of monsoon rains on September 6 and 7. After this, the rain will be light on Sunday and the rain will start leaving the area in the late evening or night. A monsoon system is likely to become more active over the Bay of Bengal next week. It is estimated that the monsoon trough will remain away from the northern plains from September 9 to 13, including Delhi. Now the monsoon trough will return only by September 12 or 13, so the weather is likely to remain calm in the capital Delhi between September 9 and 13 next week.
