Mangesh Yadav, who carried out this robbery and had a bounty of Rs 1 lakh on his head, has been killed in an encounter. Two Deputy SPs of the STF team, DK Shahi and Vimal Singh played an important role in this encounter.

Meanwhile, news came that DK Shahi’s wife Ritu Shahi has been appointed as a member of the Uttar Pradesh Women’s Commission. However, let us make it clear that Ritu Shahi was appointed before the encounter of Mangesh Yadav.

According to the information, Ritu Shahi is working as the regional treasurer of BJP Mahila Morcha in Gorakhpur region. Now she has been appointed as a member of the UP Women’s Commission. In this way a new chapter has been added to her political career.

On the other hand, Deputy SP Vimal Singh, who was involved in the Sultanpur encounter, has been awarded the Gallantry Medal for the encounter of Atiq Ahmed’s son Asad and Mohammad Ghulam.

An encounter took place in Sultanpur early this morning

Let us tell you that in Sultanpur district today on the morning of 5th August, a fugitive criminal with a bounty of Rs 1 lakh was killed in an encounter with the STF. This encounter took place on Hanumanganj bypass of Dehat Kotwali. The killed criminal Mangesh Yadav was one of the main accused in the robbery at the shop of a jeweler. During the encounter, one of his accomplices escaped from the spot.

In fact, on August 28, crores of rupees were looted in broad daylight at Bharat Ji Sarafa in Thatheri Bazaar of Chowk area in Sultanpur city. Today, STF Deputy Superintendent of Police DK Shahi and Vimal Singh were with the team, during which an encounter took place with the accused who carried out the robbery in Mishrapur Puraina under Kotwali Dehat. One of the main accused involved in the incident, Mangesh Yadav son of Rakesh Yadav, resident of village Agaraura police station Baksh Jaunpur, carrying a reward of Rs 1 lakh, started firing at the police.

During this, the police team also fired in self-defense, which hit Mangesh. Mangesh got injured due to the bullet. He was sent to the nearby CHC Bhadaiyan for treatment, where doctors declared him dead. The police have also recovered a pistol 32 bore and cartridges, a pistol 315 bore, a bike and jewelry related to the robbery from the spot. Dozens of cases were already registered against Mangesh Yadav.
