Chhattisgarh Woman Gang Raped: In Chhattisgarh’s Shakti district, three people gang-raped a mentally ill woman. The shocking thing is that the three accused are not strangers but relatives of the victim. After getting information about this shameful incident, the police raided and arrested the three accused.

Giving information about this incident, a Chhattisgarh Police official said on Wednesday that this incident took place on Monday in a village under Dabra Police Station and on Tuesday morning the police got information about this matter. On which the police took immediate action. The case was registered and action was started.

During the investigation of the case, the police arrested all the three accused one by one. The police officer told PTI that the accused, who were in an inebriated condition, took the woman to a deserted house and raped her there. Sensing something suspicious inside the house, some children playing outside the house informed the villagers about it.

After this, the villagers surrounded the house and entered the house. Seeing the scene inside, it did not take long for the villagers to understand that the woman had been brutally raped. Seeing the crowd of villagers, two accused managed to escape from the spot, while the third accused was caught by the local people and beaten up badly.

After this, the villagers informed the police about this incident of sexual harassment. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and traced the two other accused who had fled. After this, a police team raided and arrested both the accused. In this way, all the three accused got caught in the clutches of the police.

The police officer said that according to the villagers, the accused persons are relatives of the rape victim and two of them were allegedly involved in illegal sale of country liquor. A case has been registered against the accused under the Indian Penal Code (BNS) and further investigation is underway.
