Emergency landing of Coast Guard helicopter that went to rescue the sailor, 4 ships and 2 aircraft deployed for rescue

A crew member was injured in the motor tanker Hari Leela near the sea in Porbandar, Gujarat. The Indian Coastguard received an emergency call from the ship. After this, the Coastguard sent its Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) for help. This happened on the night of 2 September at around 11 pm.

The helicopter that went into the sea had to make an emergency landing for some reason. It fell into the sea. Due to which the Coast Guard personnel present in it fell into the sea. One soldier has been found. While the search for three is still on. For this, the Indian Coast Guard has deployed four ships and two search aircraft for rescue.

This is an armed utility helicopter. IAF has 16 and Army has 75. It is also flown by two pilots. It also seats 12 soldiers. It is 52.1 feet long. 10.4 feet wide. 16.4 feet high. Maximum speed is 280 km per hour. Range is 590 km. It can reach a maximum height of 20 thousand feet. One M621 cannon of 20 mm, 2 Mistral rockets, 4 FZ275 LGR missiles, 4 Dhruvastra missiles can be deployed.

HAL LUH

This is a light utility helicopter. IAF and Army have ordered 6 each. It is also flown by two pilots. It can seat 6 people. This helicopter is 37.8 feet long and has a height of 11.1 feet. Its maximum speed is 250 kmph. It can fly 350 kms in one go with a weight of 500 kgs. Up to 500 kms empty. It can go up to a maximum of 21,300 feet.
