Regarding the incident, the police said that an innocent child died due to the collapse of a house on Monday while four people were injured who have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
According to the news agency, he said that the incident took place around 2 o’clock on Sunday night when the family was sleeping in the house in Nai Basti area. City SP Arvind Kumar said that the house suddenly collapsed, due to which the owner of the house, Zafar, got trapped in the debris along with his wife and three children.
On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and rescued the family. They said that the girl had died due to being buried under the debris. The officer said that the police took the family members to the hospital and sent the girl’s body for post-mortem.
