The road connecting Vadodara to the Statue of Unity broke down due to heavy rains. Due to which one side of the road has been closed for traffic. It is feared that the road broke down due to torrential rains and water released from the dam. The road is broken in such a way that it may take several months to repair it. The road construction work will start only after the rain stops. The local MLA has asked to start the work here soon.
