Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren is going to join the Bharatiya Janata Party. He has confirmed this. Champai Soren said, ‘This is my new chapter. First I thought of taking retirement, then on the demand of the public, I decided to stay in politics. After thinking, I thought that I should go with PM Modi. I am going to join BJP.’
Earlier on Monday, Champai Soren met Home Minister Amit Shah. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma also shared a picture of this meeting on social media and wrote that former Chief Minister of Jharkhand and a respected tribal leader of our country, Champai Soren ji met Honorable Union Home Minister Amit Shah ji some time ago. He will officially join BJP in Ranchi on August 30.
