Janmashtami is being celebrated across the country today and its enthusiasm is also being seen in the Indian stock market. Both the stock market indexes Sensex and Nifty started strongly. On one hand, while the 30-share Sensex of the Bombay Stock Exchange jumped more than 600 points, the NSE Nifty also crossed 25,000. During this period, the shares of TCS and Bajaj Finserve, which are among the large-cap companies, rose the most.

Stormy rise in Sensex, Nifty close to 25000
On the first day of the week, Monday, on the occasion of Janmashtami, trading in the stock market started with a boom. BSE Sensex opened with a gain of 302 points at the level of 81,388.26 and this momentum kept increasing. At the time of writing the news, at 10.10 am, the Bombay Stock Exchange Sensex was trading at the level of 81,731.36 with a gain of 645.15 points. 24 out of 30 BSE stocks were trading in the green.

Like the Sensex, the Nifty also gained momentum as soon as the market opened. NSE Nifty opened at 24,906.10 with a jump of 82 points and in a short while it crossed the 25,000 level again while running at a stormy speed. By 10.10 am it was trading at 25,014 level with a gain of 191.65 points.

Investors earned Rs 1.71 lakh crore in one go
Due to the rise in the stock market, investors made huge profits. If we look at the rise in BSE Market Cap, the total market capitalization of BSE listed companies on Friday, the last trading day of the last week, was Rs 4,59,96,548.98 crore, which reached Rs 4,61,67,862.88 crore in early trading on Monday. According to this, the wealth of investors increased by about Rs 1.71 lakh crore in one go.

These 5 stocks gained the most
Amidst the boom in the market, the shares that saw the most growth were TCS Share, which is among the large cap companies, which rose 1.60% to cross Rs 4535. Bajaj FinServe Share was trading at Rs 1668.80 with a jump of 1.77%. Apart from this, Gillette Share rose 4% to Rs 8795.90 among the midcap companies and Policy Bazaar Share jumped 3.40% to reach Rs 1742. NIIT Ltd Share, which is among the small cap companies, rose 20% to reach Rs 153.90.
