A shopkeeper did dirty work to a 7 year old innocent girl who had gone to a shop to buy milk in a locality of Sadar Kotwali area of Deoria. When the people of the area came to know about it, they beat up the accused. After this, on receiving the information, the police reached the spot and arrested the 35 year old accused.
After the incident, the people of the locality became furious and a huge crowd gathered at the shop. In view of this, a heavy police force has also been deployed. BJP MLA from Sadar Shalabh Mani Tripathi also reached the spot and assured action.
Regarding the case, SP Sankalp Sharma said that a seven-year-old girl was sexually assaulted. The accused has been arrested. It is said that the seven-year-old girl had gone to a general store in the locality to buy milk.
It was Sunday between 9 and 9:30 in the morning. During this time, the accused molested the innocent girl and did bad things to her. When the people of the area came to know about this, they gathered at the shop and started beating him.
As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and took the accused into their custody. After this, the people of the locality were so angry that they were not willing to move away from the spot. In view of the tense situation, a large number of police forces were also deployed.
The victim’s family said that the girl had gone to the shop to buy some goods. Then the shopkeeper took her inside and raped her. I got information about the incident from the people nearby. When I reached the spot, there was a huge crowd gathered there and people caught the accused and handed him over to the police.
